Product Specifications
We supply Top Rail pipes that are designed for strength, durability, and easy installation.
Standard Size & Length
- Diameter: The most common and versatile diameter is 1-3/8 inches OD (Outside Diameter). This size fits standard residential and light commercial fittings.
- Length: All our Top Rail pipes come in standard 10-foot lengths, designed for efficient coverage and minimal waste.
The Swaged Connection (Male/Female Ends)
Our Top Rail pipes are manufactured with a swaged end.
- This means one end of the pipe is reduced in diameter (the Male end), allowing it to slide perfectly into the unreduced (the Female end) of the next section.
- This 'male-into-female' system eliminates the need for external couplers, speeds up installation, and provides a smooth, strong, and seamless connection that maintains the structural integrity of the line.

Installation Quick Guide
Installing the Top Rail is one of the final steps in building your framework:
- Attach Rail Ends: Use a "rail end" fitting secured to the terminal, corner, and gate posts.
- Start Connection: Slide the first Top Rail pipe through the loop caps of the line posts until it reaches the rail end fitting. Secure it with a rail-end band.
- Connect Sections: Insert the Male (swaged) end of the next 10-foot section into the Female end of the installed rail. Continue down the fence line.
- Final Connection: Trim the last piece of rail pipe to length (if necessary) and attach it to the final rail end fitting.
